Classic juicy hamburgers perfect for weeknight dinners
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices cheese (optional)
- Lettuce, tomato, onion for toppings
Instructions
- Form ground beef into 4 equal patties
- Season both sides with salt and pepper
- Heat grill or skillet over medium-high heat
- Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side for medium
- Add cheese in last minute if using
- Toast buns lightly
- Assemble burgers with desired toppings

Don't press down on patties while cooking
