15-Minute Beef and Broccoli

Restaurant-style beef and broccoli in less time than delivery

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil in small bowl
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet or wok over high heat
  3. Add beef in single layer and cook 2 minutes without stirring
  4. Flip and cook another minute, then remove to plate
  5. Add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, cook 30 seconds
  6. Add broccoli and 2 tbsp water, cover and steam 3 minutes
  7. Return beef to pan, pour in sauce, and toss until thickened
  8. Serve immediately over rice

Notes

Slice beef while partially frozen for easier, thinner slices
