15-Minute Beef and Broccoli
Restaurant-style beef and broccoli in less time than delivery
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil in small bowl
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet or wok over high heat
- Add beef in single layer and cook 2 minutes without stirring
- Flip and cook another minute, then remove to plate
- Add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger, cook 30 seconds
- Add broccoli and 2 tbsp water, cover and steam 3 minutes
- Return beef to pan, pour in sauce, and toss until thickened
- Serve immediately over rice
Notes
Slice beef while partially frozen for easier, thinner slices
