Turkey and Avocado Lettuce Wraps

Light and fresh ground turkey wraps with creamy avocado

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 8 butter lettuce leaves
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 red onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat
  2. Add turkey and cook, breaking apart, until browned
  3. Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper
  4. Squeeze lime juice over cooked turkey and stir
  5. Arrange lettuce leaves on plates
  6. Divide turkey among lettuce cups
  7. Top each wrap with avocado, tomatoes, onion, and cilantro

Notes

Use butter lettuce for the sturdiest wraps
