Turkey and Avocado Lettuce Wraps
Light and fresh ground turkey wraps with creamy avocado
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 8 butter lettuce leaves
- 2 avocados, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 red onion, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in skillet over medium heat
- Add turkey and cook, breaking apart, until browned
- Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper
- Squeeze lime juice over cooked turkey and stir
- Arrange lettuce leaves on plates
- Divide turkey among lettuce cups
- Top each wrap with avocado, tomatoes, onion, and cilantro
Notes
Use butter lettuce for the sturdiest wraps
